The land borders with Ghana, Benin and Burkina Faso will be closed on April 24 from 21 hours and will be re-opened April 26, 2015 at 6 am, said Friday the government. A decision to ensure optimum safety conditions for the presidential election which takes place on Saturday.
Exceptional exemptions may be granted by the Ministry of Territorial Administration.
Air borders are not affected by this measure
