ELECTION NEWS: Refractory to democracy

Refractory to democracy
Jean-Pierre Fabre wants to participate in a presidential election if they have the certainty of winning. Such is the design of a democratic election.
The publication yesterday of partial results giving a comfortable lead to Faure Gnassingbe was the beginning of an offensive development well before the April 25 vote by the ANC.
A strategy to denounce the counting process in a number of constituencies and evoke the passage of ballot stuffing. The goal is to convince the public that the vote was fraudulent.
Since Monday, the ANC is trying to block the work of the Electoral Commission was about to publish national provisional results.
If any errors were observed here and there, they will be corrected by the CENI. Moreover, political parties can legally enter the Electoral Commission.
We are talking about a few thousand votes that do not undermine a ballot in which more than one and a half million Togolese participated.
The organization of the election was exemplary. These are the Togolese and foreign observers say. The counting device of gathering and processing of the results was highly rigorous and totally transparent.
Let the CENI to complete its mission and give voters the opportunity to know the winner.
