President Faure Gnassingbe met Tuesday in Beijing with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
The discussion was part of the following exchanges of the day with the No. 1 Chinese Xi Jinping.
The two men discussed the political situation in Africa and the good growth prospects for some of the continent before addressing issues related to bilateral cooperation.
Li Keqiang reiterated the support of his country to Togo via the official development assistance and concessional loans from Exim Bank.
Chinese Premier wants to expand trade by encouraging private companies to be more active in Togo and take advantage of the geographical location of the country, natural gateway to the subregion.
