The Prefectural Hospital of Badou (Plateaux region, near the town of Kpalime) received on Sunday medical equipment offered by President Faure Gnassingbé. This is basically materials for the obstetrics and gynecology department.
This should enable the hospital to increase its capacity in terms of delivery and patient monitoring. Many women were required to travel to neighboring Ghana to give birth to their offspring.
