The company Air Algeria will rejuvenate its fleet and expand its network in Africa. CEO announced the opening of a connection with Togo in 2017.
Preliminary contacts have been held with the authorities of civil aviation in Lomé and discussions are ongoing.
The interest of Algerians is twofold.
They want to compete with Royal Air Morocco (RAM) by the Algiers airport Hub to Europe, North America and the Arab world.
Air Algeria is also interested in the strategic position of Lomé with the presence of ASKY, a regional company serving most major African capitals of the West and Central.
