The Presidents Alassane Ouattara Ivorian and Ghanaian John Mahama Dramani arrived on Tuesday in Lome. They were greeted at the airport by the Head of State Faure Gnassingbé.
The visit of the two African leaders are part of a mission of ECOWAS to support the electoral process in Togo. Mr. Dramani is the chairman of the regional organization.
Meetings are planned with the five candidates in the presidential election.
The Electoral Commission (INEC) has almost completed the audit work and has already published the results for several constituencies.
