NEWS: There is no more inevitable

There is no more inevitable
A Tindjassé Saturday, President Faure Gnassingbé launched drilling in this village in the plain of Mô (Central region).
A symbolic move because it takes four years after the launch of the Integrated Rural Development Project (IRDP-MO). An initiative of the state, supported by the BOAD and the IDB to improve the conditions of access to basic social services and boost farmers' income (income population increase of 20%) and allow building village peasant organization. The literacy component, tenure security, access to drinking water, electrification, health, education, is obviously not forgotten.
A project of nearly 14 billion CFA francs.
IRDP started from the idea that development, there is no inevitability.
Long enclosed this plain of 1,000 km2 rugged yet has particularly fertile land. The authorities are given 6 years to install from agricultural development areas, schools and health facilities, rural roads and trace service roads to both integrate the region into the national distribution network and give the people equal opportunity for development.
In this context, roads and tracks have been rehabilitated, bridges were built school buildings and social housing and sheds for storage of agricultural production. More than 50 wells were drilled.
The program knows no poses with projects dispensaries, maternity, community centers and continued road development.
