Togo won a bronze medal in the world coffee challenge in france



2 e international competitions originally roasted coffees took place on 1 st July in the salons of the Mayor of the fourth district of Paris.


An initiative of the Agency for the development of agricultural products (AVPA) which aims to promote the remarkable food products of exceptional terroirs.

A total of 107 varieties of coffee, from 25 countries, divided into 9 categories were tested by the jury of the Agency.

Togo has obtained the bronze medal through Yentoumil company and brand 'Café large plateaus' in the category of mild coffees, but powerful.

Second award in a year for coffee 100% of Togo.

The other Togolese participant Abbey Ascension Dzogbégan with its brand 'Café monks' won a silver medal and one for gourmets in the same category.

This competition brings together the coffee came from around the world and is open to growers who process noble product at the place of production.

Several Togolese personalities made the trip with Enselme Gouthon, executive secretary CCFCC (Coordinating Committee for coffee and cocoa sectors of Togo). He was flanked by the Mayor of the fourth, Christophe Girard, Denis Seudieu of the International Coffee Organization, Philippe Juglar, President and Philippe AVPA Ngamou, development manager at AVPA.
