The ANC did not appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding the provisional results of the presidential election on April 25 that saw the victory of incumbent President Faure Gnassingbé.
Eric Dupuy, spokesman Jean-Pierre Fabre said Friday that the highest court of the country was "subservient to the regime '.
Mr Fabre has self-proclaimed president-elect challenging the results of the Electoral Commission. He claims to have won the presidential election with 52.20% of votes.
In fact, Faure Gnassingbe won 58.73% of the vote against 35.19% for Jean-Pierre Fabre.
The voice of difference between the two candidates is such that even the ANC's appeal would not change the final result.
The Constitutional Court is expected to deliver the final results probably Saturday.
The United Nations and the various observer missions felt that the elections were free and fair and without fraud cases.
In this context, the protests of the ANC and out of nowhere figures are meaningless. We can only regret the behavior to say the least undemocratic Mr Fabre who had delivered the same maneuvers during the presidential of 2010.
