Kofi Yamgnane, the head of Sursaut-Togo, indicted in France for a trafficking case of residence permits, said Saturday that the electoral process in Togo was a 'farce'.
The former Mayor of St Coulitz (Brittany) accuses the government and the opposition of 'plotting' against the people by agreeing to go to the elections on April 25 '.
Mr. Yamgnane accuses the four opposition candidates for accepting public funding for their campaigns.
'They lick their lips and then they resume the fight. Sad story but serious consequences', he says.
A similar mechanism exists in France and the former secretary of state François Mitterrand was careful to denounce him when he was in business.
