Togo, Togolese, Dear friends of the Internet community,
You are now tens of thousands of you be appropriate space for exchanges that I wanted to own. Thousands of private messages I get, the tens of thousands of "like" the thousands of comments and sharing enjoyed each of my messages to your site, show your interest and your determination to participate actively and by all channels available to you, the discussions on the management of public life and the building of our dear nation, Togo. I am particularly pleased with the courtesy of the discussions that does not alter the frank views and sincere contributions. You can be thanked.
For your messages, you often expressed your support for the actions that the Government and I are committed to improving the lives of Togolese and promoting our common country in the comity of nations. While welcoming our efforts, also wearing legitimate demands that challenge us.They relate in particular youth employment, the implementation of institutional reforms and improvement of living conditions of Togolese workers.
As you know, these concerns are among those who base my political commitment and shape everyday my actions and decisions at the head of our country.
We are indeed aware that the advent of a prosperous and radiant Togo, reconciled with itself and with all his son, goes through the appeasement of socio-political climate and the root of our desire to live together. That is why I made the independence and functioning of institutions, a governance credo. This is also why I do housework and will spare no effort for the effective and consensual implementation of policies and institutional reforms, in a peaceful environment conducive to a fruitful dialogue, which would be consistent with democratic principles. The establishment of the Reflection Commission on policy, institutional and constitutional reforms involved this commitment. International experience and leadership of Ms. Nana Amadou Abdou-Awa-Daboya and peers will enable us to agree a set of content, methodology and a realistic implementation schedule.
However, no democracy could not withstand the test of time, if it carries tangible improvement in the living conditions of citizens. Togolese workers are those who at the cost of their daily sacrifices produce national wealth.Improving living conditions is a sine qua non aspiration to the advent of a prosperous Togo. It can not simply pass by a mechanical increase in salaries and other social rights. It will be the result of lasting reforms that we have incurred to make our national wealth production system more efficient. The creation of the Office Togolese Revenue (OTR), the introduction of e-government, the construction of road, port and airport infrastructure are initiatives that will boost sustainable growth, promote a healthy public governance, improve working conditions in Togo, generating resources that can be redistributed to workers in all sectors while strengthening permanently needs satisfaction mechanisms such as health insurance, social housing, so forth.
Togolese youth has always been at the heart of our governance project. The measures that we have hitherto taken or encouraged, are part of a holistic approach to their empowerment and emancipation. The reforms under way in education and training for young people, will make genuine development agents, diversified and specialized skills directly employable or entrepreneurs. Through the National Early learning Funds for Training and Development (FNAFPP), the Fund for Support to Village Development (FADV), the Fund d`Appui Economic Initiatives Youth (FAIEJ) and the National Fund for Finance Inclusive (FNFI), we are succeeding bet offer every young Togolese, technical support and vital to the financial control of its future. As I write these lines that I share with you, I have more than personal conviction.
Dear friends of the Internet community, we have come a long way, but much remains to be done. The richness of our exchanges on this platform inspires me and comforts me more in the correctness of our options. I thank you and reiterate my commitment to work tirelessly to achieve our common goals.
God bless Togo
