President Faure Gnassingbe, candidate for his own succession, voted Saturday morning at RIT camp in Lomé, one of the first candidates to perform his civic duty. He praised the president's office, the INEC staff and delegates on site.
In a short statement, he invited the Togolese to vote in peace.
Gnassingbe (UNITE party) intends to continue the recovery policy adopted for 5 years and which, in the opinion of experts, has produced tangible results.
Jean-Pierre Fabre, the candidate of the ANC voted at 9:40 am in the polling station number 5 High School Kodjoviakopé Lome.
