From 2008 to 2015, the portfolio of the World Bank in Togo has strengthened considerably from one to 15 projects totaling $ 350 million. Releases figures on the occasion of a meeting that opened Monday between the government and the institution.
The intervention of BM is multiple: support for sectoral reforms, the implementation of the Strategy for Accelerated Growth and Employment Promotion (SCAPE), projects in education, health, community development, agriculture, telecommunications, roads, access to drinking water, environment, community development, among others.
'We note quite encouraging results in the implementation of projects. These results are achieved through a partnership of very good quality with the Togolese authorities' says Hervé Assah, the representative of the World Bank in Togo.
The WB portfolio review spans two days in the presence of several ministers (Commerce, Justice, Planning, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Education and Environment).
