The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved Tuesday indelible ink to be used during the voting process on 25 April.Arriving by plane, valuable content was sent to the headquarters of the institution in Lomé.
It will proceed in the coming days to tests to check the conformity of the ink to the safety requirements.
The use of this ink should prevent multiple voting. Traces have a life span of more than 48 hours.
18,000 bottles ordered by INEC contain significant substance silver nitrate.The mixture does not go away easily. More its rate increases, the life of the ink is large.
