China Merchants Group shareholder with Global Terminal Limited (GTL) Lomé Container Terminal (LCT), transhipment platform at the port of Lomé, offered Tuesday 200,000 to the University of Lomé (UL), via his eponymous foundation.
Financial support that will provide scholarships to students in need and deserving.
A special account will be created for this purpose, said François Messanvi Gbeassor, President of UL.
The check was presented by Li Xiaopeng, president of China Merchants Group, and the Foundation.
Mr. Xiaopeng was done in the day Commander of the Order of Mono by the head of state.
